| Chris Wold Dyrud is a free-lance illustrator who grew up drawing and painting throughout the country as her Air Force family moved around. After majoring in art at Pensylvania State University, she spent a year in Moscow, USSR, where her father was stationed. Family roots brought her back to Minneapolis, Minnesota. She met her husband there, and they rased their two children in that area, while she illustrated children's books, magazines, and educational materials. She and her sister-in-law, Faythe, have always wanted to work on a book together. |
